| Entering a coaching relationship can result in numerous benefits for you. Our relationship will be very different from relationships you have with friends, partner or family. I am neutral and speak the truth to your benefit, helping you to recognize blind spots and to exploit your full potential. You will focus on what’s important and thus not waste time or effort on things that are finally not essential and not in line with your values. Most people are driven by values that are not their own, beliefs they have taken on from an early age from their parents, teachers, society, the media. By consciously selecting the values you truly want to live by, you will take your performance to a whole new level. Along the way, you will build abundant life energy to do all you want to be and achieve. |

I guide you through the process of:
- Focusing on what’s happening here and now at all levels of your being
- Discovering what you want.
- Learning what it is that is stopping you get what you want.
- Removing your obstacles – real or imagined.
- Facilitating the resolutions of inner as well as outer conflicts, and resulting problems
- Create Action and take the steps required to reach your goal.

You will not find two coaches coaching alike. The way I help you achieve your potential is by balancing intellect and intuition. I am your partner in focusing empathically on your personal development for you accomplish most things. I teach you to be your own observer of what you are thinking and feeling. I show you how to overcome emotional barriers and obstacles, using 21 st century technologies such as Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT). Once you master these skills you can use them by yourself for life. During our conversations I focus closely on you and help to bring your awareness to what you are doing and thinking. I do this intuitively and sometimes may not be able to justify my perceptions. Together we will explore new perspectives, possibilities or challenges, to overcome whatever is in the way of optimal success. The choice is always yours. I will never impose whatsoever on you.
However, my approach is also down-to-earth and practical. When what you need is expertise or business knowledge, we focus on this and explore the resources to help you master the area you need to strengthen. When you are feeling demotivated or disconnected from your true self, your (life) purpose, or you are experiencing emptiness, or a strong desire “to do something different, something more important…” we may focus on deeper, perhaps more spiritual dimensions.
In most cases, I go with you where your energy is, unless, you are moving away from the real issues, sidetracking into less essential areas or blaming situations or people. In this case I will direct you – with your permission - right back into the heart of what needs resolving. |

Almost everyone can benefit from coaching. Coaching is of enormous benefit. It accelerates your growth rather than allowing you to wander through life experiencing random trials, errors and repetitive dead ends. This aimless wandering is a waste of precious time and I can support you in finding your true path.
Yet, be sure that you can commit to taking some time to work with a coach. |

The ideal duration of a coaching relationship depends mostly on you and what you wish to achieve. I had a client who was unsure about his upcoming promotion from scientist to group manager. The solution emerged already in the second session and after three sessions he was confident he could implement his plan without my help. Another person had a public speaking phobia triggered by a particular type of audience. Applying Emotional Freedom Techniques in the coaching process, the phobia was neutralized and is now gone for good. This also took only two sessions. Yet another person needed to implement self-directed teams in her department and was not credible as a “hands-off” manager. Multi-rater feedback, visioning, challenging, exploring multiple perspectives and options showed results after three months. To ensure that she would not fall back into similar behaviors, she continued to be coached at greater intervals for about one year.
Personal development may require more learning cycles and may take longer, until the learning is fully acquired. Some clients want a one hour session per week for 2 to 3 years, to be sure of continuity and to fully benefit of the established trust. Meaningful life changes can take some time. Some people can let go of past experiences and focus on desirable new ones faster than others.
Although I establish a coaching contract with you, and we agree up-front on an approximate duration, you are ABSOLUTELY FREE TO STOP at any time. Feedback to help me understand is welcome, but you are not obliged in any way to justify your decision. I recommend that you make an initial commitment with yourself to continue for a minimum of 3 months. |

What's the difference between Business Coaching and Life Coaching?

| Business Coaching focuses primarily on your business and personal objectives related to your work. Business Coaching often involves a triangular coaching contract (sponsor-coach-client). However, it doesn’t exclude your current life situation. In fact, Work-Life Balance is a challenge for most professionals working in fast-paced organizations. Life Coaching looks at your life holistically. The most likely starting focus here is your personal development. Most business executives and independent business owners combine the two for maximum benefit. The line of distinction is often blurred, even more so when you are independent. The greater your personal development, the higher your business potential. |

Is e-based, virtual coaching effective?

| Yes. I work with people also by telephone and email. You can be anywhere in the world. Even clients living near my office sometimes prefer to be coached in the comfort of their own homes or offices, at a time that is right for them. A coach appearing in your office during business hours may give “signals” to the rest of the organization that you are receiving some kind of help. If this is your wish, that’s great. If not, you can receive coaching in a more discrete way. In my experience, the ideal coaching experience involves a mix of in-person, telephone and e-mail contact. |
